Do you have unused and unwanted drugs in your medicine cabinet? Multiple Police Departments across the country are partnering up with the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to collect any unwanted medications – both prescription AND over-the-counter. You just drive up and drop off: Officers will take them from you while you sit in your car, no questions asked.

Be advised that flushing prescription medications down the toilet or throwing them in the trash are potential safety and health hazards.

Items Not Accepted:

      • Illegal drugs
      • Medical waste or trash
      • Thermometers, syringes, or needles
      • IV solutions

Portland Locations: Here is a selection of the participating Portland area locations. The complete list includes includes about 20 stations, so if you don’t see yours, use the search feature from the DEA. You will need to start a new session and then add your zip code.
