Date: Saturday, February 11th, 2017
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Location: Sunset Presbyterian Church –
14986 NW Cornell Rd.
Portland, Oregon 97229
One of the methods thieves use to steal your information is combing through recycling and garbage for sensitive information that has been thrown away. Bring your credit card statements, financial statements, pre-approved credit card offers, old IRS tax forms, bank checks and old household bills for safe shredding. Staples and paper clips are ok but please remove all binder clips.
You are welcome to bring up to three bankers boxes of documents but please note that this shred event isn’t for shredding business documents – it is intended to provide a service for personal documents. This event is sponsored by the Beaverton Police Department
Participants are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation for the Oregon Food Bank. You may also bring a monetary donation. Both support our local community!
Service will be on a first come, first served basis.
NOTE: Please do not contact Sunset Presbyterian Church with questions about this shredding event. All information related to this event is posted on the Beaverton Police Department’s web page and Facebook page.
Less Mess. Less Stress. Better Life.
This event shows up as cancelled on BPD calendar.
Thank you, Kevin for letting us know! I updated the post and will publish the next shred event when it is scheduled.
